Before coming to Ka'ewai I served as Vice Principal with Farrington High School & as a Special Education Teacher with Hawaii Youth Correctional Center. I received my Masters from George Washington University.  My mission as Principal of Ka'ewai is to provide rich opportunities for all of our students, staff, families and community members to be successful in the 21st century.   I support all of the extra curricular activities that develop character and pride in our students and community.  When I am away from Ka'ewai I enjoy traveling and experiencing new foods and cultures.

I received my Bachelors of Special Education & a double Masters of Arts in Teaching along with a Masters of Educational Administration. I believe that all children are unique and bring something special to our world. With positive nurturing, a safe environment, caring role models, and an inspiring atmosphere our children will flourish emotionally, academically, physically, and socially. The role of education is one of preparing our children for the world of work, grooming them to be productive citizens, empowering them to be literate critical thinkers, and equipping them to compete in an ever changing global marketplace.
